Paramount+ Escola de Quebrada
Class is in session with Escola de Quebrada
Miagui dreamt up a stylish visual concept for the Key Arts for the movie Escola de Quebrada, a new Paramount+ production with KondZilla. The feature-length film is a teen comedy exploring youth culture in Brazilian high schools.
Our challenge was to translate the myriad details of that world into the visual communication of the movie, ranging from outfits to slang, music to the realities of adolescent life itself. To fully guarantee legit representation we explored the aesthetics of multiple Brazilian public schools, drawing from real life classrooms and of course the students themselves.
Miagui came up with the Key Arts visual conception from start to finish, which appears on pretty much all the promotional materials produced for the film. Each poster shows off much of the characters’ styles as they circulate and navigate their academic adolescent adventure. We started by imagining the creative paths, followed by the photo shoot stage, and of course added final touches in post production. One more successful Miagui project directed towards streaming platforms, which is a specialty of ours.
