Miagui has embarked on yet another production at Marcopolo’s invitation, this time for the bus brand G8. So pick your seat, grab your ticket and come learn all about their latest high-tech bus model.
The purpose of the new bus is to provide passengers with a high-level travel experience that offers technology, comfort, and safety. That’s why, from the very start of the video, we build a visual narrative that favors its new design as well as its new features and upgrades. In addition, we show its performance on the road in scenes shot at various locations, adding dynamics and context to the entire campaign.
The project was dreamt up in a hybrid production pipeline, i.e. we mixed both 3D production and real scenes captured onboard the bus, folding actual viewer experience into the narrative. Our aim was to humanize design-based content and highlight the main features of the new product and its main attributes throughout the animation. In addition to the film, we also delivered some hyper-realistic 3D stills.
The result was so good that Marcopolo’s final G8 images were selected for Lürzer’s Archive’s “200 best Digital Artists,” a special edition of the world-renowned advertising magazine that celebrates some of the world’s best artists and their main projects of the year.
