On the highway to the future
Once again we were invited by Serviceplan Middle East to take part in an incredible project campaign — creating a CGI animation for the launch of the New Corolla 2021 in the Middle East, the world’s top-selling car!
Inspired by retro-futuristic visuals, this car has a modern, imaginative style like you’ve never seen. Based on it, we decided to use cyberpunk colors and aesthetics when creating the video’s visual identity. We modified light, shadow, and geometric shapes in order to develop the many pieces of content in a visually consistent way and included eye-catching scenes that silhouette the car in different angles in a versatile 3D environment. Another highlight were the signs in Arabic: Handling, Performance and Fuel Efficiency; a unique way to present rational functions in the middle of the video without sacrificing the flow of communication. We thought of every detail to keep viewers fully integrated and immersed while watching.
From the very start of the project, we here at Miagui had been dreaming of a visual that focused on the car itself and showed off its main characteristics in a modern, minimalist environment. We digitally created an enormous hangar full of large, colorful, glass cubes that occupy the perfect space for the new Corolla 2021 to take a quick spin.
In the end, we were looking to produce a digital campaign with the sleek detailing that has come to be part of our characteristic. The result is a unique approach that connects with the public and launches the new Corolla out of the Middle East and straight into the future.
